Interconinetal Champion Big E Langston def. Curtis Axel

BOSTON – Dubbed a “WWE Champion in the making” by former title holders like JBL, Big E Langston proved his
 Intercontinental Championship win against former champion Curtis Axel was no fluke, successfully defending the title
against the third-generation Superstar at Survivor Series.

Certainly paving a path to becoming one of WWE’s most dominant Superstars, Langston defeated Axel on Raw after his
 Intercontinental Championship opportunity at WWE Hell in a Cell was cancelled due to Axel’s injury. Though the jury is
 still out for the long-term regarding Axel’s decision to ditch his manager Paul Heyman, at least in the short-term it
looks as though the son of Mr. Perfect might have benefited from Heyman’s guidance.

Langston showed no fear entering the ring at Survivor Series, immediately putting his power and speed on display.
The power-lifting Superstar has been compared to WWE Hall of Famer Ron Simmons and other competitors known for utilizing
their strength inside the squared circle, but Axel saw firsthand that Langston’s athleticism and agility may be more of
an asset than his power.

Axel was no slouch though, taking advantage of Langston reeling on the outside of the ring. Executing a number of
 high-impact strikes to build momentum, Axel’s strategy quickly became one of keeping Langston at bay. Big E regained
control by overpowering his challenger, but Axel channeled his father  and executed an impressive Perfect Plex.

In recent weeks, Langston has showcased his abilities and at Survivor Series, he added resilience to his growing list
 of attributes. Axel attempted his match finishing neck-breaker, but Langston countered and  secured a victory following
his patented Big Ending.

BOSTON – At Survivor Series Sunday night, the jealous Divas Champion AJ Lee, her enforcer Tamina Snuka and a posse of
five other rebelling Divas were served an eye-opening reality check that would make Roddy Piper and all of the Real
Housewives proud. It was a close call, but the technical prowess of Natalya made the difference in the cast of
“Total Divas” prevailing over a team of resentful competitors not showcased on E!’s hit reality series.

Alicia Fox was quickly pinned by the impressive Naomi following a dazzling split-legged springboard moonsault from the
top rope. Following the eliminations of Cameron and Rosa Mendes, Nikki Bella and Summer Rae entered into an impromptu
dance contest, but Summer was a bit too confident in her tango. With Fandango’s waltz partner posing in the ring,
 Nikki nailed her with a stiff kick to the skull, sending Summer from the ring back to the ballroom.

Former Divas Champion Kaitlyn showed her muscle as The Hybrid Diva eliminated both “newbie” Eva Marie and the funky Naomi
 with back-to-back executions of a maneuver that sent them from her shoulders to a knee in the gut. Brie Bella achieved
 immediate retribution, pinning Kaitlyn following a top-rope missile dropkick.

Aksana and Brie were both sent packing next and the dangerous Tamina Snuka stepped between the ropes. The daughter of
Jimmy Snuka wiped the canvas with Nikki, and the exhausted Bella Twin slowly crawled to her corner to find only JoJo
available and holding out her hand. Nikki reluctantly tagged in the youngest member of her team, giving JoJo her first
 official taste of WWE action. The rookie folded like a tent under the colossal Tamina. A momentary burst of energy
afforded JoJo the opportunity to attempt a crossbody off the top rope, but Tamina caught the E! star in mid-air.
 A Samoan Drop later and JoJo was toast. Tamina tagged in AJ, allowing the detestable Divas Champion to score the pin.

Natalya entered the contest to tangle with Tamina in a clash of second-generation Divas, but Jim “The Anvil” likely
winced at the sight of her daughter’s head crushing against the turnbuckle courtesy of the mighty Tamina. Yet,
 the powerful Diva was a bit too confident and, upon missing a Superfly Splash, tapped out to The Sharpshooter.
An attempt by AJ to quickly gain the upper hand as the only remaining member of her team was unsuccessful.
With Bret Hart looking on, Nattie locked AJ in another Sharpshooter, forcing the outspoken Divas Champion to submit.

With Natalya and Nikki Bella as the bout’s survivors, the cast of “Total Divas” was momentarily drama-free in Beantown,
 but their camaraderie likely won’t translate when the E! cameras start rolling again.


Mark Henry def. Ryback

BOSTON — In a colossal collision between two of WWE’s largest Superstars, Mark Henry returned to WWE with a vengeance
and overcame Ryback in a smashmouth-style bout.

The contest featured power moves by both massive Superstars, who looked to annihilate each other. Although Ryback held
 his own at the start, the result was a repeat of their confrontation at WrestleMania XXIX last April — he simply could
not match the power of The World’s Strongest Man.

In a brutal maneuver, Henry launched himself into the air and battered Ryback with a vicious cross body out of the corner.
 Next, Henry ended Ryback’s hopes of a win with a massive World’s Strongest Slam that was heard all the way up in
the rafters of the TD Garden.

The impromptu match came about when Ryback interrupted the Survivor Series Kickoff Panel, featuring WWE Hall of Famers
Mick Foley, Booker T and Bret “Hitman” Hart. After Ryback boldly declared he intimidated the three Hall of Famers,
 he issued an open challenge to anyone in the WWE locker room.

Answering the call, The World’s Strongest Man — returning from a right hamstring injury that shelved him for the past
several months — accepted the challenge and took the fight to Ryback.



The Shield & The Real Americans def. WWE Tag Team Cmapions Cody Rhodes & Goldust,The Usos & Rey Mysterio (Traditional
Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match)

BOSTON – Not even the return of Rey Mysterio and the bright lights of a WWE pay-per-view could derail the oncoming train
 that was Roman Reigns, as The Shield’s main muscle outlasted the competition in a 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series
Elimination Tag Team Match to become the sole survivor.

Joining The Ultimate Underdog in his Survivor Series return were two pairs of battling brothers — WWE Tag Team Champions
Cody Rhodes & Goldust and the high-flying Usos. Opposite them was the intimidating Shield, consisting of Reigns,
tag team partner Seth Rollins & U.S. Champion Dean Ambrose and the surging Real Americans, Jack Swagger & Antonio Cesaro.

The stipulations of the match indicate that the teams compete in a five-on-five tag contest with the added twist that
Superstars are eliminated individually — via pinfall, submission, disqualification or count-out — until one squad has
no members remaining.

Kicking off the bout — and the 27th Annual Survivor Series event proper — Cody Rhodes and Dean Ambrose set a fast-paced
tone for what would be an explosive and memorable contest. But when Ambrose got into a heated argument with the referee,
 the titleholder literally talked his way out of the match, as Rhodes rolled him up for the bout’s first elimination.

After order momentarily broke down, the match reset and a lightning-fast Rey Mysterio lit up Boston’s TD Garden.
 Mysterio hit Swagger with a 619 and spun him into an aerial assault by The Usos, who in turn eliminated The Real American
 from the bout and set their team up with the 5-on-3 advantage.

However, teammate Antonio Cesaro would swing the momentum back in his team’s direction, literally, trapping both Uso
brothers in successive, impressive Cesaro Swings. Yet a quick tag in would allow the younger Rhodes brother to trap a
slightly dizzy Cesaro, rolling him up for the three-count, and putting Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins in a bad way.

The tag team partners worked in tandem to isolate their opponents, though, and a Reigns spear to Jimmy Uso was followed
by a cover, eliminating one brother from the bout.

Rollins and Cody then locked horns, and though Rhodes was able to hit the Cross Rhodes on his opponent, Rollins had
already tagged in Reigns, who nailed Cody with a spear before covering him for the three-count. Jey Uso and Reigns went
 at it on the outside, with The Shield member being hurled into the ringside barrier.

When Rollins pinned Jey back inside the ring after yet another spear, the odds were quickly evened up, with the remaining
Shield members facing off against Goldust & Rey. Despite taking a nasty spill, The Master of the 619 dug deep and found
a way to roll up Rollins for the pinfall.

And so it came down to Roman Reigns, facing both Mysterio & Goldust, exactly one year after The Shield made their
infamous WWE debut. Unlike how it had been for the majority of that year, however, Reigns did not have the numbers
advantage, staring down at two WWE legends on his own.

A thundering spear from the black-clad brickhouse, delivered to Goldust, turned the match around on a dime and set up an
 epic one-on-one battle 30 minutes into the bout. Unbeknown to the WWE Universe, however, was just how close to the end
it was. When Rey set up his foe for a potentially match-ending 619, Reigns bounced up from the ropes and floored
Mysterio with a ring-shaking spear.

And so it was that Roman Reigns stood alone in the end, eliminating four members of the opposition with four spears,
 and emerging as the sole survivor in a bout brimming with top talent.


CM Punk & Daniel Bryan def.Luke Harper & Erick Rowan

BOSTON — Thanksgiving may be days away, but after not only surviving, but prevailing in, a dangerous brawl against
The Wyatt Family at WWE’s fall classic, The Best and The Beard have plenty to be thankful for.

Despite competing at an immense size disadvantage and having to contend with the ringside presence of Bray Wyatt,
the potent combination of CM Punk & Daniel Bryan dealt a huge loss to Luke Harper & Erick Rowan at the 27th annual
Survivor Series.


At just under 17 minutes, Punk hit the GTS on Harper to score the winning pinfall. Though the victory was undoubtedly
 gratifying to The Second City Saint and WWE’s “Yes!” man, it was anything but easy.

For weeks, the wicked trio’s sneak attacks have decimated the popular Superstars, with The Eater of Worlds blaming their
 actions on “the devil” and urging Punk and Bryan to “run.” The Wyatt Family laid out Punk & Bryan as recently as two
days ago on SmackDown, but on the Survivor Series Kickoff, The Best in the World made clear that he and Bryan were not
afraid of their opposition but, rather, eager to  scrap.

And what a scrap it was. To the sounds of the sold-out T.D. Garden chanting “Yes!” and “This is awesome!” the contrasting
styles — Harper and Rowan’s ferocious fisticuffs, and Punk and Bryan’s technique — played out in an evenly fought contest.
 Sitting in his trademark rocking chair, Wyatt watched on as his lurching monsters mauled their smaller opponents in
 the early goings, despite Punk and Bryan’s best efforts to strike and move.

The Best and The Beard did land a series of double-team maneuvers, including a double dropkick and an homage to The Hart
 Foundation’s Hart Attack, but a savvy distraction by Rowan gave Harper time to regain composure and drop Punk with a
massive boot to the face.

From there, the Wyatt Family members’ backwoods brawling style took over in impressive form.

The unkempt Harper sank in his alligator roll and planted Punk with a Michinoku Driver. Even though the WWE Universe in
Boston rallied The Best to make a tag, Bryan’s subsequent flurry — though effective — was all too brief. A top-rope
 hurricanrana attempt was blocked by Harper and reversed into a devastating sit-out powerbomb, and Rowan launched Punk
over the ropes to the floor.

With Wyatt yelling, “This is all your fault, Daniel,” Rowan repeatedly slammed The Beard and cut off the ring, booting
Punk off the apron and, in the process, preventing him from making a tag.

Things looked especially bleak for The Best and The Beard after Harper dropped Bryan with a half-nelson suplex.
 Moments later, however, Harper ran into a head kick by Punk, and Bryan — galvanized by a chorus of “Yes!” — tagged in
The Second City Saint.


Re-energized, Punk leapt into a springboard clothesline, connected with his knee in the corner and even dove onto Rowan
and Wyatt on the floor. In the bout’s final moments, Rowan helped Harper escape a GTS, but thanks to a well-timed Running
 Knee Strike by Bryan on the red-bearded brawler, The Best was able to muscle Harper up for a match-winning GTS.

Now that Punk and Bryan have defeated his henchmen, the WWE Universe is left to wonder about the next move from the
cryptic Eater of Worlds.


World Heavyweight Champion John Cena def. Alberto Del Rio


BOSTON – Brushing off a lingering injury, World Heavyweight Champion John Cena heroically overcame the treacherous Alberto
 Del Rio in an extremely hard-fought World Title Match at Survivor Series.

On route to WWE’s fall classic, the WWE Universe was unsure whether Cena’s surgically repaired triceps would hold up
against his notoriously vicious No. 1 contender and his devastating Cross Armbreaker – especially since Del Rio has
spent the better part of the weeks leading up Survivor Series attacking The Champ.

However, the intestinal fortitude that helped make Cena a 14-time World Champion would ultimately put those doubts to
rest – starting with the valiant titleholder refusing to wear his protective brace as he came to the ring to face the
dangerous 4-time World Champion.

While it was true that Cena had an incredible record of seven wins and only one loss at Survivor Series heading into the
 contest, the skillful Del Rio would waste little time executing an aggressive offense designed to take this Champ out
early. This would include hurling the titleholder’s hurt appendage into the unforgiving steel steps, attacking him from
the top rope and generally targeting his opponent’s weakness at every pass.

Things went from bad to worse when the action spilled outside the ring, as Del Rio mercilessly lunched The Champ in the
ringside barricade and mocked him to boot.

Every time that Cena would start to build momentum – whether it be knocking back his No. 1 contender with a
earth-shattering dropkick as his attacker came off the top rope, or hitting the Five Knuckle Shuffle – Del Rio would find
a counter and take Cena back down to the mat.

Still, no matter what he did, the Mexican Superstar could not put away the ultra-resilient Cenation Leader– as the World
 Heavyweight Champion kicked out of pin attempt after pin attempt – leaving every ounce of his Hustle, Loyalty and
Respect on the field of battle!

Once again looking to put away the iron titleholder, Del Rio finally went for the Cross Armbreaker, only to find himself
in the STF! But the Essence of Excellence was not going to give up either and reached the ropes to break the hold,
showing equal resilience.

In the height of the action, when Del Rio finally cinched in the Cross Armbreaker on the arm in question, Cena again
roared back, miraculously lifting Del Rio up with incredible strength and hurling him back to the canvas.

And when Del Rio attempted a third Cross Armbreaker, it proved to be one attempt too many. For Cena would counter with
an Attitude Adjustment out of nowhere and bring the WWE Universe it its feet with another gutsy successful title defense!



WWE Champion Randy Orton def. Big Show


BOSTON — WWE Champion Randy Orton retained his title against Big Show at Survivor Series in a manner that has become
standard for the manipulative Authority. But The Viper wasn’t the only champion standing in the ring at the end of the
night.

Making a massive statement without speaking a word, World Heavyweight Champion John Cena interrupted Orton’s victory
celebration and faced off with his greatest rival in the center of the ring. No blows were exchanged, but WWE’s two top
 dogs held their titles high, teasing a potential showdown that has been a long time coming.

It was an unpredictable ending to a match that was defined by unexpected moments. Earlier in the evening, WWE COO Triple H
 had announced that there would be no physical interference in any of the night’s bouts. That was troubling news for a
WWE Champion who has relied heavily on the influence of The Authority to keep him in the title picture. A week after he
had uttered the words, “I probably can’t beat Big Show by myself,” Orton was all alone against a true giant.

If The Viper lacked confidence, he made no attempt to hide it as he rolled out of the ring as soon as the bell rang.
Hoping to avoid Big Show’s lethal fists, Orton stayed on the move early in the contest, but it’s hard to avoid the grasp
 of a man with a wingspan like an airbus.

Ultimately snatching the champion up with his catcher’s mitt hands, Big Show began to tee off on Orton with punches that
could rearrange internal organs. All of The Viper’s third-generation instincts seemed to disappear as the idea of losing
his WWE Title — and his status as the “face of WWE” — became a disturbing reality.

Orton did show glimmers of his dangerous self at times. After yanking Big Show off the top rope and driving him face first
 into the canvas, The Viper came within a millisecond of pinning his massive challenger. And Orton’s resilience was on
 full display when he powered out of a pinfall attempt after being chokeslammed by the titan.

Still, the night belonged to Big Show. At the same event where he won his first WWE Title in 1999 (and his second in 2002),
 The World’s Largest Athlete seemed on his way to doing it again when the action spilled to the outside. Although the
referee went down after an accidental collision, Show fended off Orton’s attempted chair attack and flung him into the
third row of Boston’s TD Garden. If that wasn’t enough punishment for The Viper, Big Show went ahead and knocked him out
on the arena floor. In that moment, the big man’s victory was all but a formality.

And then Triple H’s music hit. As The World’s Largest Athlete tossed Orton back in the ring and readied to pin him,
WWE’s COO, Stephanie McMahon and Kane gathered at the top of the entranceway. Finding a loophole in their own edict,
The Authority did not physically interfere in the bout, but they distracted the challenger just long enough for Orton
 to shake off the cobwebs and connect with an RKO. To finally put Big Show away, The Viper punted him in the head and
 pinned the giant.

Despite rumors of tension between the WWE Champion and The Authority, the group seemed to be on the same page as the
“face of WWE” celebrated with his title. That was until John Cena broke up the party. Riding high after his successful
 World Heavyweight Title defense against Alberto Del Rio, the Cenation leader brought his hometown crowd to its feet as
 he deliberately set his sights on the WWE Champion.

What happens next with Orton and Cena is anybody’s guess, but things between WWE’s two World Champions are about to get
 very interesting.

Cena's emotional pay-per-view comeback absolutely ignited the WWE Universe. From the early moments of the subsequent
matchup, however, it quickly became apparent that Del Rio’s vicious aggression would threaten that homecoming and,
in fact, the very career of his celebrated opposition.

Indeed, the treacherous titleholder would target the injured arm of his heroic No. 1 contender from the word go.
 And despite Cena’s resilience and ability to roar back from his opponent’s unrelenting assault, it seemed for
a time as if the 13-time World Champion had indeed reemerged too early and was not 100%. With each passing moment,
Del Rio executed a calculating attack, designed to wear down his prey.


The resilient challenger would soon build a solid offense, catching Del Rio with a drop kick as his opponent came off
the top rope and following up with the Five-Knuckle Shuffle for a near near-fall.

But, as the two determined warriors battled back-and-forth with growing intensity, the fans couldn’t help but wonder
just how much punishment Cena would be able to take.

Then, in a critical moment, Cena avoided a Del Rio charge, sending the Mexican Champion directly into the unforgiving
steel post and allowing his iconic foe to hit a follow-up high cross body.


Regaining the advantage, Del Rio would try the Cross Armbreaker, only to have that attempt countered with the feared STF.
 Still, the champion managed to persevere by getting two fingers on the ropes and forcing the referee to break the hold.

At wasn’t long before Del Rio would return to his signature maneuver, this time successfully locking in the Cross
Armbreaker. But even as he rolled down Cena’s protective pad to expose the injury, the incredible strength of
the Cenation Leader allowed him to pick up the reigning champion and miraculously drive him down into the canvas.

And when the stunned Essence of Excellence regained to advantage and went for his dreaded submission hold  yet again,
 Cena would be ready for him – countering with an incredible Attitude Adjustment to grab the monumental three-count
 to earn Cena the World Heavyweight Title amidst a standing ovation!

Returning from elbow surgery to repair a torn triceps, the determined Leader of the Cenation stepped back into action
with 13-time World Championships to his credit – including a record 11 reigns as WWE Champion as well as a two
World Heavyweight Titles.

But, in the weeks leading up to the pay-per-view showdown created by SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero,
the 4-time World Champion, Alberto Del Rio set out to prove that Cena’s best days were in fact behind him
– vowing to destroy his celebrated opponent by locking him in the Cross Armbreaker and never letting go.

As vicious as the intent of the Mexican titleholder was, though, it would not be enough to deny the intestinal
fortitude of a true WWE institution. And now that Cena had left WWE Hell in a Cell a 14-time World Champion,
one thing is for sure, The Champ is definitely here!

Why, exactly, “Mr. WrestleMania” acted against his student remains unclear. On the surface, there didn’t appear to be
any sort of fix in against the bearded rebel who has defied The Authority at every turn. However, it was clear something
was amiss from the very beginning, when Triple H – who had a heated discussion with HBK moments earlier – made a
grand show of parading the abeyant WWE Title before the match, offering handshakes to both Orton and Bryan.
Even as The Viper seemed smug and confident in his patron’s presence, Bryan’s rebuke of the handshake was repaid with a
 knowing wink from the COO, as if he knew the tenacious grappler’s fate was already sealed.

The two rivals wasted no time on pleasantries once the steel came down, using everything from the ring ropes to the Cell
 walls to their fists as weapons. Bryan attacked The Apex Predator with the force of a bullet train, but The Viper
 picked his spots carefully, absorbing his opponent’s attacks and cutting Bryan off each time the submission master
neared critical mass. The early patience paid off almost immediately when Orton sent the winded former WWE Champion
flying into the Cell, leaving the “Yes!” man splayed and dazed outside the ring.

Exploiting the full lawlessness of Hell in a Cell, Orton attempted to use the steel steps as weapons, yet he seemed to
have underestimated Bryan’s capacity for ruthlessness. The “Yes!” man reversed Orton’s attempts to dismantle him,
 slamming him into the steps and sending an ominous message to his clearly rattled opponent: Hell ain’t a bad place to be
 for Daniel Bryan.

Proving the Cell really does make monsters out of the noblest Superstars, Bryan brought Orton to the ring and trapped him
 in the Tree of Woe, chopped away with a sequence of rib-rattling kicks and a baseball slide that turned The Viper into
a human bobblehead. As his momentum built, the “Yes!” man threw Orton outside the ring and struck with two suicide dives.
Once again, however, The Viper proved the more patient of the two and calmly dodged an attempted third.
 Bryan’s momentum carried him headfirst into the chain link, knocked him into a stupor and handed The Viper the upper hand.

Orton took the fight back in between the ropes, though Bryan’s tenacity again proved more than he anticipated.
After suffering a barrage of headbutts from The Apex Predator, Bryan finally found his rhythm and hammered  Orton with
European uppercuts, then pulverized the reeling Viper with a diving headbutt  and a “Yes!” Lock that The Apex Predator
only barely managed to escape.

Orton staggered to the outside but found no mercy, as Bryan ground his head against the chain links before producing a
chair from beneath the ring and putting the implement to work. Not only did the submission master play a tune on
The Apex Predator’s exposed back, but Bryan also tossed about a dozen  steel chairs  into the ring. Sensing that his
old student was, perhaps, getting out of hand, HBK tried to talk some sense into the two-time WWE Champion.
 But the fuming Bryan only had one response for his onetime sensei: “Get out of my way, Shawn.”

For the second time, Shawn Michaels attempted to intervene by talking The Viper down, and for the second time his words
fell on deaf ears. Orton tossed the chairs into a macabre pile and sent Bryan tumbling onto them with a top-rope superplex,
 though the ensuing two-count briefly turned The Viper’s rage toward HBK instead of Bryan. The Apex Predator
all but demanded that The Showstopper give him a three-count, and HBK’s protests – his insistence that the contest be
 decided fair and square – brought Triple H storming out of the locker room.

The King of Kings’ presence, understandably, took Michaels’ eye off the action at hand, and while the COO chastised his
best friend for putting his own interests in jeopardy, Orton regained the advantage by hurling  Bryan through  the air with
  a devastating T-bone suplex. With Michaels’ time otherwise occupied by Triple H, though, Orton’s attempted pin
 went unrecorded. The Viper didn’t take kindly to the oversight and joined Triple H in berating “Mr. WrestleMania”
for his evidently shoddy officiating. However, with all his attention focused on the bout’s referee,
Orton committed the one unforgivable sin of Hell in a Cell: He forgot about his opponent.

Bryan sprang immediately into action and “Yes!” Locked Orton again, bringing The Viper to the brink of submission.
Although Orton escaped the hold, the WWE Universe sensed the end was near and roared its approval. In the same arena
where the “YES!” chants first took life, Bryan fed off the crowd’s energy and found his groove again.
 While the Universe roared and The King of Kings literally rattled the cage of  a conflicted Michaels,
Bryan countered the RKO by shoving The Viper into a distracted HBK, leaving the WWE Hall of Famer down  and
 robbing the steel house of pain of its lone peacekeeper.

Unsurprisingly, this was the moment when all hell broke loose.

Seeing his best friend laid out threw The Game into a panic, and WWE’s COO demanded that the Cell door be unlocked so
Michaels could be attended to. While Triple H and WWE medical staff fumbled with the padlock, however,
 Bryan made his move and leveled  Orton with the Running  Knee Smash. With Michaels unable to count,
 Bryan attempted to rouse his  mentor  to fulfill his promise and bring the bout to a fair conclusion.
 Triple H unceremoniously threw Bryan away from his Michaels  and, with Orton indisposed and The Game’s defenses down,
 Daniel Bryan saw his opening.


Granted, it wasn’t a WWE Title win, and given what happened afterward, it’s likely Bryan may end up regretting it.
 But the second Triple H left himself exposed, the “Yes!” man hit The Game with another Running  Knee Smash with
such enthusiasm you’d have thought he had waited for it his whole life. “YES!” chants erupted from the WWE Universe ,
though the euphoria was sadly short-lived.

Perhaps it was seeing his best friend knocked out . Perhaps it was something The Game had said to Michaels before the match,
 or maybe he just thought it was best for business. Whatever the reason, HBK staggered to his feet,
took stock of the situation and hit Bryan with Sweet Chin Music, toppling the would-be titleholder to the mat.

Michaels, for his part, didn’t seem to believe what he had just done, especially when Orton regained consciousness and
 slithered into the cover. With no choice left , Shawn Michaels counted  three and left the arena in  disgusted silence as
 The Game celebrated alongside Orton, crowed again as his chosen champion and the Face of WWE.

Why did Shawn Michaels  do it? The answer is likely not  simple. A previous issue with Bryan?
The need to side with his best friend, Triple H? Money? Sometimes it just takes the right combination of circumstances to
 bring out the devil in us all. The only question that has been answered is who is the WWE Champion.
 The answer is The Viper, Randy Orton.

Justin Roberts makes the introduction to the special referee at Hell in a Cell , the WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels.
 HBK comes to a huge reception from the St. Louis crowd, and he dances around the ring as Michael Cole,
 Speak Jerry "The King " Lawler and John " Bradshaw " Layfield about him refereeing the Hell in a Cell WWE Championship
 Match between Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton . The crowd chants " HBK . " Michael wishes to thank all those who voted for him
his last week on the WWE app to special referee for Hell in a Cell . It 's nice that no one has forgotten
 on ' H -B- Shizzle. "

Now he knows everyone is in relation to the personal feelings he in relation to the competitors in the hell in a cell
 match . Many moons ago , he coached a young man who had aspirations of becoming a WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan .
The crowd chants " YES! " HBK says he always liked Bryan . He never wanted to Randy Orton, and, yes , his best friend
Triple H is he can see why everyone is affected , but the Hell in a Cell match is not over him. It is about the
two competitors and the crowning of a new WWE Champion . He respects the two competitors and the Hell in a Cell .
 He was in the first Hell in a Cell in this building. He is inside, have been on the top, and he fell away from him.
 Think about it , he is glad that he retired. Michaels says he saw what happened at WWE Battle Ground . It was a pot ,
 and it will not happen again. Two men in the Hell in a Cell to go , and it guarantees that a person walking out
 as WWE Champion .

Randy Orton's music hits , and the hometown boy comes to a very nice reception . Orton gets into the ring,
 and he says that he has a match next against The Miz , and he will do this very quickly. HBK has everyone got
convinced the audience. That's great, but Orton wants him fill a little secret. He was born and raised
here in St. Louis, and he knows the people in the city better than anyone else , especially HBK . Orton says
 the people in St. Louis are not so rosy . Orton smiles as the crowd boos him. Orton says he can see right
by Michaels. It 's not that he does not like it, it annoys him . No matter how great HBK once was , Orton
 always be that much better than him. This fact is eating HBK inside. HBK pretending like he was not listening .
 HBK says that he knows that Orton is all due to what is going on insecure , but he needs to worry about Daniel Bryan .

Orton can not believe what just said HBK . He said he would not just beat Bryan at Hell in a Cell ;
he will hurt him really bad. He will destroy Bryan . HBK is to count the pin , and he must
Hand Raised . Orton says he will enjoy every second of it . The crowd chants "NO!" And Orton says to keep their mouths .
 Orton says he 's no fool . Everyone knows that HBK screw is no stranger to jobs. If HBK screws him at Hell in a Cell
 there will be no return to what he does to be him. Orton asks if he clear.
HBK asks if Orton tried to intimidate the special referee for his Hell in a Cell match.
 A lot of people have tried , but you can not intimidate him . Orton may try to put his hands on him at Hell in a Cell
 or even right now, but he warns him that if he does, he will enter his pretty head from his shoulders pretty .
 If you 're not down with that, he has two words for ya ... SUCK IT !

HBK turns around, as Orton tries blindside him with an RKO . HBK pushes him off and goes for Sweet Chin Music ,
 but Orton ducks out of the ring . Orton stares at HBK until the attack from behind by The Miz . Miz sends him
into the barricade and beats on him until referees run down to break it . The Miz looks Randy Orton next .

Randy Orton vs. The Miz

We join the game in progress. Orton sets Miz in the corner and tried it again , but Miz blocks .
 Miz puts him in the corner and hits him . Miz knees him in the midsection a few times, until Orton kicks him away.
 Orton clothesline in the corner, staring at the crowd , and do it again . Orton goes for the third clothesline ,
but Miz elbows him in the face . Miz kicks away at him before him over the top rope clothesline .
Miz waits for Orton to his feet before you get a baseball slide , but Orton moves . Orton clotheslines
it outside the ring. Orton gets in the ring to the number before it by throwing Miz into the steel steps outside again break .
 Orton then picks him and sends him into the other set of steps . Orton puts him back in the ring and covers for
 a two count .

Orton goes to The Miz while staring at the crowd. Orton then hits the Garvin Stomps for a two count .
 Orton applies a rear chin lock , and the audience wants Miz to get up. Miz gets to his feet and elbows.
 Orton reverses a whip and sends Miz over the top rope to the outside. Orton follows him out of the ring
Put him on the barricade. Orton goes for the suspended DDT on the floor but Miz counters by driving Orton
Spine first into the ring post . Orton rolls into the ring to recover. Miz gets in the ring , and he ducks
 a clothesline before a running forearm. Miz hits a million dollar knee lift before him to kick down
on his knees and face. Miz then catches it with his signature corner clothesline . Miz goes
to the top rope and catches him with a double ax handle . Miz signals for his finisher. Orton counters from
the Skull Crushing Finale . Miz invites him into the corner and Orton blocks a purely experimental . Miz hits him
on the back of the left leg and is Four Leglock a Figure.

Suddenly the Wyatt family video flicks on the screen , and the lights go out. When she returned to ,
 Wyatt , the family is on stage. Miz stares at her before turning around into an RKO for the loss.

Bray Wyatt speaks from his rocking chair. Wyatt says that Miz is the epitome of everything he detests
 about this world : the limelight , the diamonds and the red carpet. How much will it take to satisfy
 Miz's request - his obsession with fame ? They are tangled up in this moment in a spider web . Wyatt says " his child "

They circle the ring and lock up . Fandango quickly pushes Rae as Santino summer claps . Santino shakes his hips ,
 Fandango and pushes him. Fandango bypasses a push of Santino and Santino claps for him from threatened
him with the Cobra . Fandango quickly gets to the ropes . Fandango quickly beats him down and beats on him .
 Fandango then uppercut him from wiggling his hips . Fandango sends him into the ropes for a back elbow ,
 and he takes a two count . Fandango applies a chin lock but Santino fights soon and punches .
 Fandango returns a whip into the corner , and he avoids Santino tries to spin about him. Fandango
Clubs him in the neck before a suplex . Fandango dancing for the crowd before . Onto the top rope
 Santino gets to his feet, as Fandango jumps over him. Santino ducks a clothesline , and he falls Fandango with force .

Both men are down . Santino hits some punches when they get up , splits under a clothesline and hits a hip toss .
 Santino hits from a falling head butt before taking the Cobra . Santino goes to hit him with the Cobra , but Fandango moved
 Summer Rae and is almost hit . Santino stops itself , Fandango and rolled him for the win.

Brad Maddox is backstage with Paul Heyman . Heyman shows him pictures of WWE Battle Ground when CM Punk was Ryback
a low blow while the referee was not looking . Punk then realized Ryback . Heyman says this is fraud.

 he is not really sure what he wants. Heyman says that he is looking for more than a rematch. Punk is a fraud ,

 He envisioning CM Punk against Ryback and Axel Curtis . That's what 's best for the economy.

Maddox says he is not sure that's very fair. Heyman says Punk is a fraud weasel.
Punk does not even know the meaning of the word " fair." Maddox says he never thought he would hear a walrus reputation
a punk , a weasel. Maddox says she found faith in Heyman Ryback to the test. They will play Beat the Clock :
Ryback against R-Truth and CM Punk against Axel Curtis . When the clock strikes Ryback , then Heyman , the default .

Michael Cole mentions that Xavier Woods of WWE NXT , an online petition to bring back the Big Show started.

Los matadors w / El Torito vs. Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre w / Jinder Mahal

Diego started the match against Drew McIntyre . Diego ducks a lock and shouts : " Ole " lock ,
 McIntyre and powers him into the corner. Diego ducks a kick and chops the chest. McIntyre reverses a whip into the corner ,
 but he runs into a boot . Diego catches him with a flying hurricanrana . Diego hacks him to his corner and tags in Fernando .
 She sends him into the ropes for a double team back body drop . McIntyre kicks him and tags in Heath Slater .
Slater punches and kicks before it reversed a whip. You go through the ropes to Fernando catches him
 with a rotating head - shear transfer. Slater flies out of the ring in front of El Torito . El Torito mocks Slater dance.
 Slater chases him and Fernando takes him with a suicide dive . Fernando brings him into the ring and will eat in to
a roundhouse kick from Slater .

Slater is currently proposing Fernando tagging McIntyre in. They double team a slingshot suplex for a near fall hit .
 McIntyre chops the chest and knocks him into the corner. McIntyre hits him in the face, and Fernando comes
back with some wild punches. McIntyre quickly booted him in the face before stomping the face. McIntyre is

Diego and Slater are tagged in. Diego catches him off the apron with a pair of flying forearms before dropkicking McIntyre .

 Legs . Diego catches him with a second rope punch. Fernando is tagged in and they hit a double team back suplex
 for the win.

 one of the principal owners of WWE . They are not well received by the St. Louis crowd . Stephanie says the last week on RAW ,
 they learned a very valuable lesson . She learned to never allow her kindness be mistaken for weakness .
It keeps the crowd chants , "You got out Patting ! " Triple H stares coldly.
Stephanie says that she and her husband Big Show saved more times than they can remember ,
last purchase the mortgage on his house. How will they be repaid ? With disrespect and insubordination .
Last week, the Big Show after he was fired , got in the ring , and he struck her husband in the face.
 The crowd cheers wildly. Stephanie says Big Show did the same as the amount , but where is he now ? He is unemployed.

 for trespassing and assault. Let that be a lesson to everyone in the WWE locker room, because audacity is
will not be tolerated .

Stephanie says that Michael Cole interviewed on WWE.com sources say that near the COO was a reported
 Concussion and a broken jaw , the cable needs to be disconnected . It reminds them who they are . This is Triple H
 a thirteen - world champion , the King of Kings, the Cerebral Assassin and The Game . Triple H deserves this name .

Triple H takes the mic and he says that rumors of his death have been greatly exaggerated .

 He put up with a lot. He did endure the questions and accusations that the work stoppages and rebelliousness .
 Every man has his breaking point, and his last week was when he was in the middle of the ring
unconscious, while all fans chanted : " YES" " YES! " While the whole world sing , the audience sings it on ,
 Triple H is angry.

Triple H says that this is the way it is . After all they have done, he and his wife are the only villains.
 If they want him to be the villain ,

Big Show is scrambling to his feet to prison or to avoid financial ruin. Who in this locker room, that

 beg to keep their job. Anyone who even thought the word " yes " would be better to start than the worship now . The crowd chants "YES!"

Daniel Bryan music played , and he comes to a huge reception . Bryan leads the audience in a "YES!" Singing.
 Triple H and Stephanie McMahon stared at him angrily from the center of the ring . All of a sudden ,
Alberto Del Rio attacks Bryan from behind and beats him down the ramp ! Del Rio nods towards Triple H and
Stephanie before kicking Bryan in the temple. Stephanie asks if Bryan wanted to say something .
Stephanie guesses that before the introduction of him , his opponent tonight , the world champions Alberto Del Rio is ready!
 Del Rio and Triple H mocking the " YES! " Singing. The crowd chants "NO!"

another census . Ryback slams R-Truth in the corner a few times before picking up a near fall.

 for a two count . The fans are the commentators sing now . R-Truth counters a body slam and punches him in the face.

running clothesline . Brie hits a drop kick and knees her in the face . Brie knee her in the face again before he

 Daniel Bryan runs , and he's really excited about what is happening Brie Bella . Stephanie says that he was his

Lock and Punk quickly applies a side headlock. Axel whips him , and punk shoulder blocks him

 Punk backs up and blocked a kick from Axel . Punk catches him with a jackknife pin for a count .
Punk punches and chops him a few times in the corner. Axel comes back with a kick and some chops of his own.
 Axel meets a snapmare and a rolling neck snapper for a census . Axel punches him before hitting a bodyslam
for a census . Axel meets another body slam and drops an elbow for a census . 4:00 remaining.

 Punk and catches him with a springboard cross body for a count . Axel quickly comes back with a clothesline for

Axel hits a backbreaker and goes for a second rope elbow drop , but Punk moves . Punk knees him in the midsection
 few times before him. in the corner for a high knee lift Punk follows up with a short - arm clothesline
for a near fall . Punk goes for a near fall on the top rope before dropping an elbow . 2:00 on the left and Heyman
is not happy. He screamed for Axel to leave the ring for a while. Punk goes for a GTS ,
But Axel slips and hits his old McGillicutter a near fall . Axel rubbed his face into the mat before punk
comes back with some punches and chops . Punk sends him into the ropes , but Axel is able to catch him with a clothesline
 a near fall in the back of the head. 56 seconds remaining. Axel hits the Perfect Plex for a near fall .
 Axel goes for another Perfect Plex , but Punk catches him with an inside cradle for a near fall .
Axel misses a clothesline and avoids a neckbreaker but Punk is able to catch him with a roundhouse kick to the skull.
Punk then hits left on the GTS for the win with 11 seconds!

Paul Heyman is furious at the ring , and he throws Axel WWE Intercontinental Championship down .
 Heyman is at the top of the ramp screaming that he did not believe it. Punk grabs a microphone ,
 and he says that the party has just started in St. Louis. He does not know whether Heyman knows , but he struck Heyman guy ,
 so he gets the default in the Hell in a Cell PPV pick . This is where Heyman is proud of him , because
 he learned from watching the mad scientists of professional wrestling . Punk may Heyman idea. At Hell in a Cell ,
it will be a handicap match . Ryback and Paul Heyman against CM Punk in a Hell in a Cell match!

We come from the break to see Reigns punching away at Goldust in the corner. Rollins is tagged in , and he watches

Rhodes ducks a clothesline and hits some punches. Rhodes catches him with a high knee in the face and an uppercut .

Ambrose puts Rhodes in the ring and goes to put Reigns in the ring when the Big Show runs into the ring through the crowd !
 Ambrose grabs a chair and Big Show knocks him down before a knockout punch. Big Show grabs Rollins,
 and he gives him a knockout punch. Reigns stares at him from inside the ring. Reigns ducks a kick Disaster
 Big Show punches him in the face! Rhodes then covers him for the win!

Winner and new WWE Tag Team Champions : Cody Rhodes and Goldust

Triple H into the ring runs absolutely furious . Big Show leaves through the crowd and makes a " YES! " Singing with the audience.
